The Big Departure
So a couple weeks turned quickly into a month and half…
Good thing is that I took the time to finish all the things that were holding me back and my mind is now free to leave brussels in peace.
The main thing that was holding me back until now was the door I was making as part of my woodworking studies last year. I still needed some time to finish it well, as I am giving it to my mom before leaving. That door is now finished (I will add a picture later), but I need to defend my work in front of a jury, which is happening this friday.
This means that from Friday 25th of november 2022 eveneng on, I can go explore the world in all carefreeness :o)

Plans for my near future
So I have some off time after this crazy year and incredible summer and I thought I’d set up a little blog I can use to post stuff while I’m travelling. Today is the 13th of October 2022. If everything goes to plan, in a couple of weeks I will leave Brussels on my bike on a journey to the North of Europe.
The plan as it is established now is to go Northeast directon Denmark, take a ferry from Hirtshals (or maybe Frederikshavn if I decide to go to Oslo) and follow the coast of Norway until I reach the northernmost point of continental Europe.
I have no idea what I will do next. Which way will I head South? Will I still bike every day or will I settle down for some time? Will I want to come back home to my friends and family or will I want to continue the adventure further? Stay tuned to have the answers to all these questions ;)
